(no subject)
I'm quitting my job. Unfortunately, I can't do that until I can find somewhere else to work for $8ish an hour. So if any of you hear of anywhere that is hiring or needs someone to do something other than be the person that everyone else takes out their problems and issues on, please let me know. Because I can no longer stand putting up with people treating me like shit all the time, but I have to pay the rent.
[7:35pm last night. 8 hours and 5 minutes into my shift that no one could be bothered to pick up even though everyone whines about how their hours were cut blah blah blah.]
"Hello, how are you today?"
[No answer]
"Sir, could I see your ID?"
[Grumble indistinct]
"Sir, I need to see your ID for the wine, I'm sorry, but I have to card you."
"WELL FUCK THE WINE THEN"
"Your total is $17.32. Out of 20. Here's your change. Have a good night."
"Yeah, screw you!"
::commence Christy bursting into tears and leaving::
Like I said. I'm done.
PS. I had a dream last night where I yelled at some deserving people and then spent the day on the beach because it was miraculously like 75 and sunny. I woke up feeling super happy and wonderful... for some reason the happy feeling didn't last... I wish it had. I think I'm going to Frosty Treats for lunch...
