I'm feeling much better now.
My stuff is here now, and it's even quasi-organized. I've got most of the bookshelves in the places that they'll live, a lot of the books and media out of the boxes (it felt psychologically important to get them out onto the shelves even if they are utterly disorganized), two (of the many) kitchen cabinets cleaned and lined with new contact paper, the bathroom mostly organized, some food in the fridge (need to go shopping), and a good sense of the next steps.
School has been great, which I'm really enjoying. Have got a ton of homework that I have been neglecting so that I can impose some order on my home--because I'm not the Minotaur, and I don't need to live in a labyrinth. I should do a lot of reading today.
I'm still trying to decide where all the art is going to live. That might wait a bit until I have a friend over for another set of eyes on it.
On the whole, though, I'm liking this crazy experiment more.
