well, I don't know about that...
I just submitted a manuscript to the Writers of the Future contest. A friend just mentioned resolving to submit work quarterly to the contest, and I have cool (and queer) acquaintances who've won, and so I thought, "why the hell not?"
I feel sort of weird about it because, well LRH and the CoS, yo, and I'm not down with that. That said, WotF is separate and it's a well--potential very well--paying market with a good amount of exposure.
But I do feel sort of weird. Not enough that I wouldn't submit another manuscript in the future, mind... I mean, it's not like it's Card.
