lawl after seeing so many other people's icons with them very obviously everywhere, I can never decide if I should be proud or ashamed of not using stock textures and instead insisting on using only ones that I take the trouble to make myself. ;;

it's hardly something to be ashamed of. C: i just couldn't bear to take so much time to make my own light textures and whatnot, since my inspiration dies within twenty minutes or so after i open PS up. ;_____;

Well I doubt I'd do it for a band, as I don't have an ungodly amount of Billy Joel pics and you're already doing the Beatles, but. Something similar to this might be a good idea for giving me new ideas for icons. xD
