i will be home in less than 36 hours! w00t.
i miss: ice. air conditioning. being able to listen in on other people's conversations. reading menus. shoes that cost less than one paycheck. my friends-boyfriend-family. keyboards that don't type ä, ö, ü, ß, or €. my flowers. work (believe it or not) and the paychecks it yields. speaking in rapidfire english. chili cheese fries. people with a semblance of fashion sense. wireless internet.
i will miss: public transportation. weighing myself in kilos (meaningless). cobbled streets. gardens. public nudity. being able to open windows and enjoy the fresh air. the children. going to the market every day (provided i make it before they close at 5). slowly being able to understand more and more of a foreign language. the city in which i have grown very comfortable and familiar.
