wow. what a weekend. my BIRTHDAY weekend. it started off pretty shitty (ha...that rhymes). i worked all day on saturday. saturday night i thought i had been left out of plans with everyone, and abby had also been ditched. so we went to the movies with my mom (which was nice, and elizabethtown was great). i also worked sunday. came home. celebrated with the family, even though i was tired and sorta sick. then i spent the rest of the evening and well into the hours of the next morning studying. so it didnt matter what else was going on, i couldnt go anywhere.
it continued to rapidly go downhill on monday to the point where i was sitting in my car by myself in the rain, in the westminster commuter parking lot...about to have a complete breakdown. having had class all day by myself, with two huge tests and a math test i completely forgot about because of the other tests. i had just found out i had to write and memorize a french skit for the next week, when i cant even speak french (which is another problem on its own). plus i had an extra band practice at 5.
at that point in the day, 2 people had said happy birthday. amber and molly. and leslie had given me a present earlier. for some reason...the concept of a surprise hadnt even occurred to me. i really thought everyone forgot or didnt care, and it was just adding to my shitty day. pfft...fine.
obviously not the case, however. i came home and my grandma and my neighbors were here and we ate wings. then...people randomly started showing up. as bad as my day had been, it got that much better...to the point where we were all sitting and watching wrestling on spike tv and arm wrestling.
so to make a really long and boring entry short...thanks to everyone who came and made my weekend awesome when i thought it was gonna suck. especially abby...who pulled it all together at the expense of her sanity lol.
