[The recording opens up with a series of sniffling and light sobbing. Voice trembling, Nanako speaks into the device sounding obviously frightened.]

[More sniffling and a few small hiccups. Her tiny hands fumble clumsily at the device. She lowers her voice, trying to speak as quietly as she can and not burst into tears. It sounds like she's trying to hide from someone.]
I- I don't know where I am... I- I was just outside our apartment and... I saw th- this girl. S- she had wings... like Nill... a-and...
I ran and hid... but... I'm sorry...
[A sharp intake of breath.]
Big bro... [She's sounding really desperate now.] H-help. I'm scared.
Dad... Mommy...
[There's a loud rattle in the background, causing Nanako to let out a small gasp. She stops talking, holding in her breath and tears. Whoever she's hiding from must have heard her. The only sound that can be heard are footsteps, growing louder and closer. The footsteps stop and all there is now is dead silence.
That pause of silence is abruptly broken by crashing and something being thrown violently to the side. Nanako lets out a frightened scream.]
Big bro! BIG BRO! [She's running now.] Hel-
