Anything pertaining to Darkwind is never a bother to me.

I have. According to my research, the village has been the way it is for about five decades. But here's what surprised me to discover: Before then, it was actually quite pleasant and prosperous. It had one of the highest population figures in Silesia.

I see. I'll be sure to narrow down my research to around that time period then. Thanks, that's a great help.

Thank you. If you have anymore questions for me, don't hesitate to ask.

Ah...what was your name again? Forgive me, it seems to have slipped my mind.

Oh! In that case, then, um, do you know anything about the surrounding area? Like natural resources, farmlands and water sources?

I don't think I told you my name before. Sorry, that was rude of me. It is Helga Louie.

There used to be a couple farming areas, but they've been dry for a long time. They also have a lot of wells.

It's quite all right. Thank you!

I see. What do you mean by a long time? About fifty years?

The last record of any farming done there is from forty-five years ago.

Now that is interesting. Do you know exactly why the farming stopped?

One year, the crops suddenly withered and died. After that it became impossible to grow anything from that soil so they stopped trying.

Wow. My experience when it comes to farming is pretty limited, but I'm sure that isn't natural. I guess this means that we should start looking at the soil and the surrounding area then.

Thanks! Um, if you do find out any more information, could you contact me or my friends over the journal? And if we find anything out, I'll be sure to tell you.
