Let's go dutch!
Who would've thought we'd trash the world champions 3-0? The whole world believed otherwise, even some of my dutch friends, even Van Basten and especially the stupid writers in yesterday's ST. I thought they kinda overdid the whole "Italians are gonna kill the dutch tonight" thing. It made me grumpy reading the article.
Well, Arjen Robben's injury was bad luck and the dutch has never been known for their superb defence but hey, they killed the italians tonight anyway! Horseface (whom i think is kinda sexy) is ferocious, as always, Sneijder was on fire (his birthday goal was stellar), Van der Sar was brilliant, the defence did okay and even Kuyt wasn't too bad as he fed the 2 goals.
and Van der Vaart, I can't believe I took this long but I've finally figured out why he's so bloody hot. He's part spanish. Spanish and Dutch, I think it's a perfect combination.... sigh.
