Valencia

Valencia was quite boring. I'm glad I decided to take the later train from Granada and spent another day there because there was nothing much to do in Valencia. I arrived in Valencia at 5.30am in the morning. Livia and I walked to our hostels together until we had to go our separate ways (cos she stays in another hostel). It was cold and my bag was heavy. Definitely not a good start to Valencia.

I managed to get about 5 hrs of sleep, after which I washed u and walked around the city to the main sightseeing areas. I've pretty much seen the sights after 2-3 hours (after a while, they all start to look the same). Then I headed to the beach and lie down for about 2 hours, after which I went back to the hostel and slacked around for another hour or 2. I had planned to visit the Cuitat de la ciencies at night because I heard those futuristic buildings look awesome at night. I'm glad I did, took some photos, then headed back to the hostel to sleep.

I didn't like Valencia because the city was boring and the hostel wasn't that great. It was new and clean but it was really big and lacks the personal touch. I did manage to talk to this other girl in my room, Laurel, from Toronto (again) but that was it.

The next day, I woke up at 8ish, checked out and walked to the train station to catch my train to Barcelona at 10am

Will try to add visuals later!
