Liverpool
I had started off my saturday at 3am because I had a 6am flight to Liverpool. I reached the airport at 4am, checked in early and slept on the benches at the airport transit till 5ish. I slept throughout the 2 hr journey in the plane.

The lake at Parque del Retiro. I went sightseeing there with David, some guy I met in Madrid. We wanted to row the boat but the queue was insane cos it was a public holiday.
Most of the statues in Madrid involve a dude on a horse but I think this one looks the best. hahaaha.
Today's day 2 in Liverpool. I'm typing this from Alvin's place, where Ben and I bunked in for the night. Got to know Alvin through Haqeem. It was really nice of him to take us up in such short notice cos all accoms in the hostels were fully booked for sat night (presumably due to the upcoming match later). But we managed to get accoms for tonight at YHA Liverpool. Anyway we spent the first day in Liverpool going to the Anfield musuem and gift shop (got more things than I planned! grr). At night the 3 of us met Haqeem and 3 other Singaporeans in Liverpool and headed to Nando's for dinner. It was good fun, the guys were so funny, I haven't laughed so hard in a while. After dinner, we headed back to Alvin's place and after my shower, I zonked out at 2am while the guys were still playing PS in the living room.
