I understand your frustration because I hate to see the download link in front of me but I can't click or download it.
Sometimes those systems just encourage people to spam to get enough posts to get whatever benefits the forum gives.

I would have felt better if I didn't spend 25 minutes at that forum to register and download. *sigh* And really, most forums that do that actually get non-productive discussion/comments (aka spam) and it hurts my eyes to scroll through the threads DX

At least animepaper gives you decent previews, and it doesn't waste 30 minutes of your time to register and stuffs. It tells you that it requires xx papers to download the scan, but those forums I talked about? Some of them only tell you the restrictions after you have done everything ;o;

Lol I actually found a torrent with all the animepaper scans, so I'm a happy girl. xD

However, if I was in a good mood then I wouldn't mind doing the work... some times.
Only thing is, I haven't been in a good mood since 'summer' started XDD'

If in the end I actually get the file I've longed for then I wouldn't mind, but most of the time it's either the wrong thing or I couldn't open it anyway. ARGH.

There are still many months of summer, so be optimistic. xD

it's sort of their way of regulating and controlling the leeching and the traffic, but...uh, they might have forgotten that the internetz is for DLs. :O Uh plus all the posting is very clumsy and slow. LJ is almost too easy.

That's true, but I don't understand why won't they upload the files into MF or something similar if they are advertising everywhere anyway. It makes everything so much more convenient. Now it just seems like lame advertising to me that desperately wants to get people to sign up and spam the forum.
