Work ramblings
I can't decide which is more tiring; 8 hours at the mailroom or 8 hours at the movie theater. They're both hectic jobs but in different ways. We had a ton of mail to sort in the mailrooms today, since it's been building up since before Christmas. The Garden Apartments are done, but the Quads and Terraces aren't quite yet. I guess we'll be finishing them tomorrow...blech.
It's also really sad, because tomorrow is Bob's last day of work, then he's retiring. So there's gonna be a retirement party for him tomorrow at lunch and I'm gonna cry. Well maybe not, but I'll be really sad because Bob is such a sweet old man. Actually, tomorrow is gonna be full of sad parties. Bob's retirement party during work, and then Nell's going away to London party is tomorrow night. Late tomorrow night actually, like after 11:00. I'm gonna be hurting Saturday morning, but it'll be worth it because I won't get to hang out with Nell for 4 months afterwards. =[
Kat says she's making jello shots and cupcakes for the party, so that should be yummy. I've never had jello shots before...I hope they're good! I really wish I had a day off sometime soon, but I'm not gonna. I want to ask for a day off from the mailroom, but I feel guilty. It'll be okay though, only after another week then classes start. And once classes start I'll be able to sleep in on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Yippie!
