I've come to a realization.
I really really suck at checkers. I've been playing internet checkers today, because I've had nothing better to do, but I fucking suck at it! I've played like, 5 or 6 games and I've lost them all! I wouldn't be as pissed off if I could just win once! Gah it's bugging the shit out of me! It's one of those things where I keep playing because I'm trying to win, but I keep losing so I keep getting angrier, and that makes me wanna win even more, so I play more but I keep losing and ahhhhhhhhhhh!

I should stick to internet hearts, I'm much better at it. Anyway that's about it for my day. I started reading The Silmarillion finally. It's got a lot of names in it, that's all I gotta say really. But the style is similar to when I would read books about the Greek Gods. Is fun stuff. =]
Tomorrow I'm going back to the library for new videos and hopefully the books I want will finally be returned. I want to read Imajica and The Never Ending Story but they're both out and they're both overdue! Yeesh! I'd put them on hold, but it costs 50 cents to do so, and I need my quarters for laundry next week. If anyone wants to recommend some books to me, that'd be sweet. If I'm sitting around my flat all day, might as well read some new books instead of watching old episodes of Saved By The Bell. (I prefer horror and fantasy books...just fyi)
I watched the second to last episode of "Last Comic Standing" and if people vote on talent alone, Rich Vos should win. He's definitely the funniest one. The others just weren't...I mean they all had a couple good lines, but none of them were funny throughout their entire set. Rich is just the man. I hope he keeps coming to IC now that he's more well known. He's seriously hysterical when doing a full show. He curses up a storm and is so un-PC and makes fun of the audience...it's great! The first time he came to IC he actually caused some trouble, because he came during "Bias-Related Incident Week" and said stuff people took offense at. But I think they're just being too sensitive. I mean, it's comedy! People are supposed to be made fun of!
I'm doing pretty good with my remaining food in the flat. I'm definitely okay for dinner for a while, because I have 2 boxes of angel hair, and enough chicken and stuffing for 2 more nights. So that should carry me to next week. It's just breakfast/lunch I gotta be creative with. I figure I can go to Rogan's and buy some more eggs and bread and maybe cheese when I run out, but I'm trying not to go on a big grocery trip until the middle of next week. Brad's coming next Friday and I want to go food shopping right before he gets here. I have $115 in my account, and my birthday is in 5 days, so hopefully I'll get some money and that can cover my bills for August. As long as my birthday can cover my bills, I should be okay for a bit longer. I just still need a JOB.
