Crazy day
Today was just...weird. Not bad or anything, just slightly off. I was up at 7am for a dentist appointment at 8am. It was painful, but it was good to go and finally get my teeth cleaned. It had to have been at least a year since my last cleaning. Possibly even longer. So I got my teeth cleaned and got a flossing lesson and they gave me a rubber scraper, so that made me happy. Then it was off to work. I looked around online for a stat for a writer, and did an errand for the EP, but nothing crazy.
I was about to leave for my first therapy session, when the power goes out. Yeah, we were right smack in the middle of that crazy power outage today. It was so random, because it wasn't like it was raining or snowing or that hot out where it would affect the power. But there we were without it. At first I thought something happened in the building, but then when I went on the road to my therapist, there were a ton of traffic lights down. So clearly, it wasn't just our building. But I had my therapy session anyway, and it was really great. Obviously I'm not cured in 1 session, but I felt really comfortable with her and I think she can help me. So that's a big yay.
Got back to work and fucked around a bit. We're playing a practical joke on a girl at work. We cleaned out her desk and put new stuff there, so it looks like she got fired and someone new has her desk. It's kinda mean, but it's reeeally funny! Hee! I had a random nice moment, when Alejandro stopped by my desk after the whole power outage thing. He was stressed out because the power outage caused server problems and he was all over the place. But he stopped at my desk and started talking about stuff, and we ended up going outside to talk. It was really nice, him confiding in me and I got to listen to him and stuff. And I kinda rubbed his arm sympathetically at one point. So now I'm not sure where we're at again. I guess I'll just have to play it by ear.
