Some bad, but a lot of good

Let's get the bad news out of the way first. I didn't get the talent management assistant job. Kinda disappointing, but what can you do? I do have two other job interviews tomorrow though, so that's promising. One is at 11:00 and the other is at 4:00. One interview is a runner position, which I imagine is something like an office PA? The other is for a development/office assistant job at a reality TV production company. Both people sounded cool on the phone, so I'm not really leaning one way over the other. I hope they go well.

In between job interviews, I plan to go to Staples to get copies of my resume. Vic was kind enough to print out my resume when I emailed it to him. So now I have an updated resume, with references, all on 1 page. Tomorrow I'm gonna get 25-50 copies. Because I imagine it'll make a better impression to have a nice printed out copy of my resume, with references available to hand the interviewer.

In other good news, I hung out with nycjessa today! It was so fun too. I hung out with her and her friend Melissa, who is also very cool. We met at the Galleria and were going to see "The Incredibles" but then decided to come back to my house and play Scene It? instead. I won! Heehee. That is a very fun game, lemme tell you. Then we watched my newly purchased "Shaun Of The Dead." It was a very lovely day indeed. Much fun and laughing and it was great to see Jess again.

Other than my interviews tomorrow, I got nothing going on. I should bug BJ and see when we're getting our poker game in. I'm seriously itching for a game. I wish I could badger Vic into at least letting me teach him how to play. I doubt he'd go for it though. He's not really into cards. Maybe Friday night at Adrienne's for dinner we'll have a game.

Ooh! And remember David the 1st AD from "Palette Of Madness" from December? I pulled him onto "Rockin' Romeo & Juliet." Heehee! So we're gonna work together again, and Ginger was seriously thankful because she loved him. Totally understandable though, he's such a fabulous guy. I'm very excited to be working with him soon again.

Okay enough blathering.
