I have a computer!

My computer is finally up and working. John set up the internet for me this afternoon and it's lovely. I really like my computer too. It's very nice indeed. I did finally go to Spookyhouse and help out, which was fun. John gave me the grand tour and it's really neat. They've got some awesome props and sets and stuff and I was getting all excited looking around. After the tour, I painted the "elevator" a weird greenishgrayishbrownish color. I might even get to work there when it's open to the public, and wear a costume and scare people. Yay!

I don't really have much to write about other than my computer and Spookyhouse. Nothing else happened today of importance. I was kinda amused in a weird way because after painting at Spookyhouse I was dying of thirst, so I went to a Carl Jrs. for a drink. I was standing on line, thinking I must look odd covered paint splatters. But it was amusing somehow. I can't verbalize that thought any better so I'll stop.

I had this little moment before, when I was leaving Spookyhouse. I was going home but John was staying longer and I said, "Okay I'll see you back at home." And as I started to walk back to my car I could see some mountains in the distance, and palm trees nearby. And when I got in my car and was driving home, I just had this happy little feeling inside. Like, this is where my life is right now. I have a home, I have a car, I have a job (sort of), I have responsibilities, I have family and friends and I'm doing this crazy thing out here but I love it.

I know I may have to go back home in less than a year if I can't get a real job, but I really feel like this is gonna work and I'm gonna stay. I want to stay so much. I love being closer to all my relatives and I love my housemates and I love our house and Wheelio and I love the work I'm doing and I'm just really content and glad that I came out here. Tomorrow the whole thing might come crashing down, but right now I'm just happy.
