Yay and grrrrr!
And I have a new stove/oven. I called my landlord and asked if the part was in yet. He said the place never called it in and he had forgotten about me since Wednesday. (yeah, don't get me started on that) But he said that he could come over in an hour and replace the entire stove/oven dealie. So he did that and it took 5 minutes. So I now have a working stove and oven again. Now, what I'm wondering is.....
WHY COULDN'T HE HAVE DONE THAT THE FIRST DAY????
I mean, he came over to replace the part. Didn't have the right part. Went to get the right part and couldn't get it. So instead of waiting to see if the part would come in, why didn't he just take the whole damn thing out like he did 10 minutes ago?? That way I wouldn't have been without a stove or oven for a fucking WEEK!!!
I'm happy I can cook again. But it seems ridiculously obvious that I did not need to be inconvienienced for as long as I was.
