In Brussels at the moment which is how I am on the internet (...also aided by means of computer and a telenet broadband connection), but am leaving in the morning back to Sheffield. Tomorrow I move in with the chef from work which is very scary because he lives with lots of hooligan students. I don't really have a choice as I am pretty much homeless otherwise (our landlord kicked us out last week, but has offered to clear all rent arrears if we don't fob him off to the police - actually not my mess but my flatmate's). So luckily I know some nice people who will put me up until I get myself sorted out. Currently looking for a job in another city... yes, I am moving... again..... Let's face it, I am a gypo.
Last week I got my tax rebate through, $cha-ching$. That was a nice xmas present. I had been paying about 50squid in tax per week since I started working in the UK last year, so imagine my excitement when I got most of that back!
So yes, I am still a drunken, though slightly less penniless (bracket-using) singleton. WINNER.
