Original: BWO (bodies without organs) - a swedish electro/pop band sang Sunshine In The Rain
Cover: Jolin Tsai - Sun Will Never Set (日不落; Ri bu luo), in her Agent J album
Original: Joanna Pacitti - Out From Under (Bratz Soundtrack) - an ousted/disqualified Season 8 American Idol contestant
Cover: Britney Spears - for her Circus album - imagine that... Brit's doing a cover.
Original: M-flo - Been So Long (back when Lisa was still with them. Rap's by Verbal in case you're curious)
Cover: Jae Joong and Yoo Chun from Tohoshinki/東方神起/DBSK. A 10th Anniversary tribute that really, really piqued my interest in listening to more of M-flo's works. Although IMO, Jae and Chun's version totally rocked "Been So Long". NO, I am not being biased.

Original: Lady Gaga - Poker Face
Cover: Chris Daughtry - an acoustic version, just vocals and good old guitar
Original: Aly & AJ (now known as 78violet) - Potential Breakup Song
Cover: Ami Suzuki 鈴木 亜美 - in her 2008 Dolce album - a highly electronical/rave interpretation
Original: 2PM - Again & Again
Cover: After School for the MBC Chuseok Special Star Dance Battle on the 4th of Oct 2009. It was really refreshing to see the girls sticking it to the boys. This cover must be watched not just for audio sake for the full impact.
Original: Switchfoot - Only Hope from their album New Way to be Human
Cover: Mandy Moore - on her "The Best Of" album and made popular in the movie "A walk to Remember" where she also starred in.
Original: Aerosmith - Crying in their "Get a Grip" 1993 album
Cover: Kelly Clarkson - during the Lifetime's Women Who Rock Concert 2006 (?) Basically, Kelly yells her lungs out but with vocal precision.
Original: Destiny's Child - Brown Eyes in their 2001 "Survivor" album
Cover: S.H.E - Lian Ren Wei Man (戀人未滿; Not Yet Lovers)
Original: Britney Spears - Everytime for her 2004 "In The Zone" album. She actually wrote the lyrics.
Cover: S.H.E - Bie Shuo Dui Bu Qi (別說對不起; Don't Say Sorry) in the album "Encore".
Original: Bee Gees - Emotion
Cover: Destiny's Child - in "Survivor" (2001). This still remains a *ahem* popular ear-plugging karaoke choice for many. Don't ask.
Original: Omarion - Icebox in his "21" album
Cover: There for Tomorrow - more acoustic and stripped with an alternative egde as featured in Punk Goes Pop Volume 2 (2009)
Original: One Republic - Apologize
Cover: Silverstein - expect a post-grunge Daughtry, Hinder and 3 Doors Down-ish version. Also found in Punk Goes Pop Volume 2 (2009)
Original: Israel Kamakawiwo - Over The Rainbow. Though originally still, it was sung by Judy Garland in the movie 'The Wizard of Oz' in 1939.
Cover: Jason Castro - during the 7th Season of American Idol. It reached #6 on the iTunes Top 20. Gives off a breezy, carribean yet summery feel. And yes, basically he did a cover of a cover.
Original: Labelle - Lady Marmalade (1974) from the album "Nightbirds". Best known for the chorus "voulez-vous coucher avec moi (ce soir)?" and turned the phrase into popular culture in the English speaking world.
Cover: Christina Aguilera, Lil'Kim, Mýa & P!nk - for the OST of Moulin Rouge (the movie) in 2001. Remains a saucy number that still gets listeners chanting "would you sleep with me tonight?" as if it were the norm. XD. The video was banned in some countries or otherwise cut until there was hardly any left to savour. Too bad in 2001 there wasn't Youtube. Can't catch me now ya? XP.
