Dead trees are decaying history and so one day we will be. Droughts and blights and heavy rains join the ground again and their impact effects us none. We either forget or never knew.

Secrets lost when we are gone and each generation wonders if it is alone because memories are not passed on. Books are words but the lessons do not live except from lips and when they breathe their last breath the chances are missed.

We are inquisitive, there's no doubt, but there's also no satisfactory answers being given to our questions, so we must learn on our own.

These encyclopedic answers do not bring beats because our hearts are not by-the-book. We have only one life to live, and what we fear more than consequences is condemnation. We'll never impress because our best is not written in words but living on our lips.

We do not live by dictation but by discovery.
