Finally getting back from a trip. Next few days aren't going to be fun, have a big talk coming up with grandma/grandpa that might result in them rejecting me from family. Oh well, such is life, hopefully they won't give mom shit about it.

I'm sorry! I assumed people had read the prologue (previous entry). Did you not see that or did I just not make it clear? I have a tendacy to do that when writing...

S'okay, I tend to do that too xD One time I read a part to a fic that was on it's eleventh chapter, but didn't realize it. Then at the end I was like, "lolwat?" before realizing. Ah, my genius, it BLINDS YOU.

Meh, it'll get better in the end. Just conservative grandparents :/ Not fun.

Oh, neat. I'm guessing that the final scene is foreshadowing of the special infected bots? I like it. :D

Also, I'm sorry to hear that you're having family troubles, I hope things turn out alright. :(

I also liked the foreshadowing involving a certain other plot point. You know, that one. You're really good at setting up for it. :D

Well, I hope you can get your mind off of it. I don't think it'll help to worry about it, but I don't know, I'm a total idiot. OTL

Last thing I want to do is give it away completely :S That would be very bad. And I'm hoping at least the people who guess don't give it away for everyone else.

Robot cannibalization, creepy!
I enjoyed this, they are really in character, and now I'm excited about what spin you will have on the mechanized versions of the special infected.

I have two favourite lines from this 'Or off getting mauled by alligators. He didn’t know what southerners did in their free time.' 'If Nick hadn’t been such a pessimist, he would have been hoping that the kid had died.'

I originally said robot cannibalization, but it sounded too awkward and I just let people figure it out.

Arborrelli is awesome and drew concept art for Mechanized Smoker :3 It's amazing and awesome and matches just what I imagined.

Psh, all us southerners do is get drunk or wrestle gators. Wrestling gators is, like, our national pasttime.

And I worried the pessimest comment would be confusing at first, but at least you understood what I meant xD Nick is a meanie like that.

I can't wait for more! I love futuristic stuff, so Infected!robots is incredibly awesome. I don't know what it is, really. Something about the concept.

:D I'm glad you like it. I'm always glad when I know that someone is reading my writing and actually enjoying it. Specially when I hadn't been planning on going through with this at first xD

I like cyborg stuff, so this is just my kind of fic :3 Though Arborrelli's been huge help with letting me bounce ideas off of her and drawing concept art.

S'okay, you should seee me after 3 days without sleep :D

Could this be the birth of the special infected? *_* This is SO awesome so far. Gah, I love it! It's exciting to read that it's all starting right now, the both of them meeting the infected bots and seeing the panic left behind by the evacuees. *flails* I can't wait to read more. :DDD

Family problems are the most difficult... hope they turn out all right. T-T

Well, I know Arborrelli's already done concept art for the Smoker, but everything else you're going to have to wait for. :D I know what I'm going for them, just gotta wait and give them long 'nough ta upgrade.

Bot!Tank will kick. Your. Ass. You think it's scary in the game? NOW IMAGINE IT MADE OF METAL. Bot!Tank will probably be my favorite special infected.
