Another toaster!
My physiotherapist and his gf went to Serenity last night on my suggestion and he really enjoyed it. It isn't the sort of movie he normally would have seen, and the advertising didn't do anything for him at all. He and I talked it up to some other patients of his this afternoon. Word of mouth needs to get around faster on this movie.
I'll be in Ottawa this weekend, so I won't be at any of the Toronto Browncoats functions. I will drag some people to the BDM when I'm down there, I hope. This is a big weekend for the movie. Second weekend of the release and it needs good numbers. This is desirable because the option for the sequel hinges on how well the movie does, and second weekend take goes a long way to determining whether the film will have legs (continue to sell tickets). If you have the time and the inclination to see the movie at all this weekend, please do so!
