Blithe Spirit
Happiness is a rare gift, and the Doctor has learned neither to pass it by nor hold it too tightly. It is as short and fleeting as those who bring it into his life.
Rose and Jack are dancing around the console room, lost in some private game that only they understand. He smiles to them happy, this wise child and joyful rogue. Jack has brought more smiles to the TARDIS and, for that, the Doctor can overlook the rest, finding his trust repaid.
Genuine blithe spirits are rare things and he will not let these ones pass him by.
