Lost 2kg

I have been hitting the gym for three weeks.  I have also been on a half-assed diet.  The diet most revolves around better timing of meals, no simple sugars, and eating less.

I have also changed my exercise routine.  I am putting more emphasis on developing muscle tissue (bigger muscles consume more calories).  I am also  using the incline on the tread mill I heard this is much more effective than running in a more comfortable position because this taxes your larger leg muscles.

The Get Fit Guy podcast has been a real big help.  Its concise and seems to be science based, so the short episodes have taught me a lot about my workout.

The end result is that Have lost roughly 2 kilograms in two weeks.  Not too bad for slouching on the diet from Thurs-Sunday.

On an unrelated note I am pretty sure that lighting striking this 6 story statue of Jesus and burning it to the ground is proof that there is no god or at the very least that said god isn't an American... or at least not a fellow Buckeye.
