Damn the police in the UK are polite.  In the us the cops would have confiscated the camera, arrested everyone involved with no reasonable charge just to give them the hassle of a  night in jail.   US cops wont explain or justify the laws they are using to harrass you.  Not bad for a country  without a bill of rights.
