emosnail is planning a truely epic road trip through what looks like half the US. It also turns out that Metalpheonix is also planning another road trip in August. So to address this truely auspicious alignment of trips Emosnail has declare August Offical Epic Roadtrip month.
I will be participating with my EPIK Adventure 08 that I have embedded above. Although this true EPIK trip has very little roadiness about it, I suspect it will earn the ranks of "Most Miles Traveled" and "Most EPIK" . Much of the trip is in search of badass SCUBA diving and beaches in Jeju-do, Korea and Hawaii's big island. It is also my goal to seek out and enjoy live music. I will also try to experiment with Travelpod.com., I recommend this to other "epic trippers". I will have the distinction of being the only participant that is making his journey solo.
I propose that each trip should be voted on and evaluate according to a number of different categories, each with their own winner.
So ideas for categories that cross my mind are:
Best Photo (s)
Best Documented
Most Shenaneghans
Most Booze Consumed
Most people that signed some arbitrary item
Also I think it would be fun to issue challenges to each other and accept them from readers.
