On Computers...
I am back Illinois, staying with my dad, for now. Except for the cash crunch, drama, and computer problems I have been really enjoying myself. Reading, working out, and sun tanning in the afternoon.
I havent been posting lately because my new laptop is still busted. When I first got it about 2 months ago it was giving me a blue screen of death. Tech support has been useless as thier generic prescription for everything is memory and motherboard... which is funny because the blue screen code seems to have something to do with a driver.
So I send it to them and I had to pay for it because the period of time that I was allowed free shipping took place during EuroTrip 07. They claim that they poked around in it and it functioned normally. After I get it back and turn it on, the first thing that happened was a blue screen of death. I have a hard time believing that they even turned the damned thing on since I get the blue screen every 5 minutes or so.
So they want me to send it back again, and I tried to make it very clear that I can not fuck around with this any longer as I am going to Korea in August. So I tried to fix it myself this weekend and reinstalled windows and the drivers and it literally made it worse. So I am sending it back, I really hope I will have a usable computer by the time I leave.
