It is nearly impossible to get a computer here at the hostal since it seems that at anygiven time there are some Chinese dudes hogging the computer.
Two days ago we went to the Riena Sofia Museum of Modern art. There is a lot of modern art that I like but there is some that gets on my nerves. Namely the stuff that look like it was unfinished and you could still see the penciel marks on the canvass. There was one exhibit by the Rufus Corporation that can only be described as live action Goya. Its hard to explain here.
That night we went out and grabbed a group infront of the hostal. I later found out that this group consisted of a pair of Austrian Brother and Sister and a Mexican dude. The sister was 15 and the brother was 17. I had a lot of fun getting him drunk. He was alright despite the fact that he likes 50 cent...
The next day Julie and I tried to do this walking tour of an area close to here, but the map in the lonely planet book was fucked so we spent 2 hours trying to find the 2nd and 3rd stop so we gave up. That night we went out with a girl that we met here and her (snotty ass) friends to various clubs. They were experts of getting us in for free to various clubs. There was one called Palacio that had 10 and a bunch of people that I wanted to punch in the face on general principle.
Later we ran into these two cats, one is an American that is playing soccer for some team out here. He was cool as hell, he kinda reminded me of Steve from MUN, only not retardedly Christianed out. His buddy was a New York that is over here bringing American Athletes over to play in Spain.
Tonight we went to this Jazz club that the hostal was advertising. The guys playing there brought up a lot of different people. One of the singers knew becky. I was really glad to see how Madrid does blues and Jazz. The 5 drinks put me off a bit but it was kinda worth it.
I love this hostal. It is really hip and clean. They also put on events like pub crawls and even a flamenco show. My only problem is the copious numbers of Frat boys and Soriety bitches here. THey are so fucking stuck up. I guess that I forgot that, dispite their inability to learn anything valuable from thier trip they are tragically the ones who can afford it.
I met these Australians here, I am sad that they are leaving because they fucking crack me up.
