took literally 10 minutes while i was waiting for internet to start working to post fluffy puppies to kimura_a_day and then i accidentally disappointed Gayle with lack of fanfic so i might post it just as well
One day it’s a Show and Tell day in the kindergarten and all kids can bring their pets to present to the class.
Little Goro brings his cat. He doesn’t let anyone hold his cat (except for one pretty girl he likes; he’d let Takuya hold his cat too, because Takuya is pretty and Goro likes him, but Takuya never asks to) and he doesn’t tell anyone what the cat’s name is because it’s his cat and it’s a secret.
Little Tsuyoshi brings his hamster. Ten other kids bring hamsters too and frankly, no one cares about hamsters. Little Tsuyoshi still loves his hamster.
Little Shingo drags Tsuyoshi around with him wherever he goes and tells everyone that Tsuyoshi is his pet. Everyone seems to believe him.
Little Takuya brings his dog, which is almost as big as him and immediately starts off after little Goro’s cat. The cat escapes little Goro’s arms and jumps to the highest shelf and won’t come down. Little Goro cries.
Little Masahiro brings a stuffed animal that could’ve been a dog once but is now so old and worn out that it’s hard to tell. Some kids laugh at him or point out that a stuffed animal isn’t a pet and little Masahiro hits them with a toy baseball bat.
(Little Takuya tells little Masahiro that his dog is cute and asks what he’s called and little Masahiro hits little Takuya too because he’s grateful and then they don’t talk to each other again.)
