The day they decide to release some uber-buff and luxurious collector's box set with all the cut material from this movie is the day I explode with bliss.
It's so frustrating to know that the best stuff probably never even made it to the final cut we saw.

I'm pretty convinced there's enough of the cut stuff to make a whole 'nother movie. if that's how Wong Kar Wai makes all of his movies, then he probably sleeps on tons of unreleased material AND I'LL BE WAITING FOR THE DAY IT GETS RELEASED. there's not enough capslock in the world to express how much I want to see it. ;.;

you know i tried once to piece together all the bits and stuff to figure out what this movie was originally supposed to be about, but it was such a mindfuck. and Kimu making out with Carina Lau still didn't fit anywhere, so I STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED THERE. and it's only slightly comforting that the actors themselves must have felt even more surprised when they watched it. >.>;

it might just end with an eye transplant. ♥
