so im sure many of you have heard from me about our apartment troubles, in that they inspected our apartment, we failed, we cleaned up to an extreme degree, and they had yet to inspect again, well, apparantly, they came sometime close to 5:15 friday, and from what ben found out from the property manager today, it sounds like they may evict us despite our efforts, now the thing is, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the apartment that goes against the lease, yes there are roaches, that is not our fault, we cleaned the kitchen of all biological matter, the pesticide guy came, sprayed the kitchen, we did what he told us, and they're still here, and the most interesting point of fact is this, they supposedly came around 5:15 friday, firstly, they had agreed to show up at 1, secondly, they claim they did the full inspection then, and there was nobody there, however, while kevin, ben and i were not there, from 5 to about 5:30, james was there from about 5:05 to 5:20, and he never saw the inspector guy, which leads us to believe the inspector never actually showed up, when ben talked to the property manager they said they couldn't tell us anything till we got a letter from their lawyers, and then ben was like "well this is really awkward for me" and the guy got this disgusted look and retorted "the way you live seems pretty awkward" but frankly, our apartment at the moment is probably one of the cleanest on this floor, we did what they wanted, and now they're trying to fuck us over
