Absolutely lovely - and a much welcomed return to your M/R verse. I particularly like the picture these lines paint in my head: “I came to find something I lost.” The wind tangles in her hair and she brushes the strands from her cheeks. “Something precious."

And this exchange: “Yours, is she?” “More like I’m hers,”

And this!: Her senses sharpen to a fine edge, her body relaxing into position. “Watch me,” she says, then spins on her heel, and dances.

Great action sequence, too! I know you used to fear writing those, but you're golden now. :)

Oh, yay! I'm gonna have to go digging for more of your Firefly fics, apparently! This is just beautifully done, like all of your writing.
I've been dragging out watching every single ep since last year...I just don't want it to end so I refuse to watch it all and, well, now I am so geeked that I can't hold back any more!
I love the way the fandoms overlap in a fairly predictable pattern :-) Watching any Doctor Who?
