Kathryn Bigelow won the best director Oscar. I'm mightily pleased.

Also, I liked Alice in Wonderland quite a lot. "Lost my muchness, have I?" Go Alice!

So happy to hear you enjoyed Alice! I saw it last Friday at the IMAX and just loved it. Yes, Alice really grows through the film, I liked that aspect of the story very much.

It must have been fun seeing it at the IMAX. I skipped the 3D-version, but I thought the effects worked really well anyway. She did, I loved that, and the ending made me happy :-)

my shipper heart thought she'd ought to have remained with Mad Hatter... he looked so heartbroken! (and I'm not particularly a Johnny Depp fan myself)
kinda wished she'd done something else to her sister's husband, though

*nods* Part of me would have liked to see her stay, but I still enjoyed how she forged her own path there at the end and set out on new adventures. I agree about the sister's husband, and I'm not really a Johnny Depp fan either, though I love certain characters he's played, and Hatter is rather fascinating.
