[A large, flying hunk of metal that used to be the door intrudes, followed by a severe and manlier-that-usual Ryuuko]

[Isshin reacts before thinking, drawing his sword as Ryuuko entered. At the sight of Ryuuken, he flinches but collects himself instantly]

Since when did you get here, Ryuuken? Or have I finally gone completely mad?

[dawnward]

... [he's smart enough to keep his mouth shut, and starts edging towards the back of the bed, hopefully so he can roll off and get out of Isshin's reach]

I'm Ryuuko. This place is what's completely mad.

[Isshin flips to Riku for a second, edging his sword towards Riku's place] Sit down! Don't think you're getting out of here just because of this!

You're Ryuuko? I'm not sure if I believe that.

[dawnward]

[one corner of his mouth turns down in a sharp frown, but he stops moving] ...you need to get a hold of yourself. We don't need to be doing this.

Calm yourself, Kurosaki. It shouldn't make a difference.

It makes a total difference! One of you isn't supposed to be here, and if you're here then [He pauses] I've really gone off the deep end.

[Paranoia's back... He jumps towards Riku] Riku, are you responsible for this, also?

[Facing Isshin, she raises her bow to about eye level] Riku's part in this is doubtful. None of us are supposed to be here.

Ryuuko, Ryuuken, whatever. I'm not going to stop until I get my answers. My head won't let me. I'll keep thinking about this until I die if I don't!

What matters now, is if you're going to let me or if someone's going to finally put me to sleep. What do you say?

[her face takes on a severe look] I will not let you continue.

[She fires several arrows with the intention of putting some space between Riku and Isshin]

[Isshin puts his hand in front of him.] Fine. Do what you want. You never thought about what other people wanted anyway.

Incantation 63: Raikōhō

[Ryuuko dodges, and the wave of lightning blows a hole in the wall to the hallway outside and beyond.]

[She appears behind Isshin and shoots at him point-blank]

[Isshin slides out of the way.] If it were anyone else, I wouldn't bother with this.

[ Tightening his grip on the sword, Isshin whispers a few words to himself. Suddenly his sword glows and changes form into a over-sized nodachi, with its elongated blade lined with a jagged edge.]

I don't think I've used this since my abilities returned, so I'll apologize now in case I don't match expectations.

[She changes to using her longbow. Hopefully the one shot will be enough to subdue Isshin; there isn't nearly enough space for her to properly face his shikai]
