Two | Eighth - Laughter is never a good sign
[Isshin is sitting on the floor of Level 23. Around him is a field that looks very familiar to the on Eos. Watching the sphere, he's chuckling a little. Occasionally he mutters as he stares blankly at the field in front of him, hardly aware that it's there anymore.]
Ganymede. He killed everyone. I should've expected that. Then again, I've been missing a lot of things.
That stupid brat Orion. Nothing like I expected him to be. He should've been smarter! I wanted a better opponent! 'Course he runs off like a brat. Ahahahah.
[He notices a flicker of light.]
...What was that?
[Isshin looks around manically. Seeing nothing, he stands up.]
Damn it. Another one! [Isshin pulls out his sword. Then he twitches and shifts backwards.]
I get it. Orion was betrayed by his father. I've made someone feel like that before. My kids must be pretty pissed at me by now. But I've never done that. And these voices. They keep whispering in my ear and...[Isshin rests his head in his hand.] I've gone through this. I can stop this.
[Isshin looks at the sphere with an odd complacent yet melancholic stare.] There's a traitor among us! [His mood switches to furious.] One of you did this! It's gotta be! [How did Ganymede know what we were up to.] I've never been more sure of anything!
I know who's responsible.
[Isshin puts his sword in its sheath and starts to walk towards the transporter pad.]
