Escapade notes

Thus far, Escapade has given me:

• quality time being ridiculous with
  renenet on the train from L.A. and again at dinner tonight;
• a Haven vid idea (which I really did not need, but this is what I get for going to 
  killabeez's panel);
• really good veggie tempura, om nom nom;
• conversations about fannish history with
  morgandawn and
  wickedwords, where by "conversations" I mean "they said interesting things and I tried to shut up and learn stuff";
• hugs and hang-out time with
  laurashapiro,
  the_shoshanna,
  killabeez, 
  melina, and
  hafital;
• a hug from
  jetpack_monkey;
• a chance to rant about Glee at
  anoel (who very kindly indulged me rather than backing away slowly, which would really have been the sensible course of action);
• an elevator conversation with
  nestra in which I persuaded her to propose a VVC panel with me.

Also, I am very happy to be sleeping in a proper bed again, even a hotel bed, because I love my sibling but I do not love the air mattress at his house. Ow, my back.
