30 days of vidding meme: Day 22 [fest participation]
Day 22: Have you ever participated in a fest or a Big Bang? If so, write about your favorite experience in relation to one. If not, are there any you've thought about doing? And if not, why not?
I have not! I would love to participate in festivids, and have seriously considered doing so. Unfortunately, the Festivids timeline does not mesh well with the realities of my work life, and I have reluctantly concluded that it would be irresponsible of me to sign up knowing that there is a better-than-even chance I would end up defaulting. If I can't make the VividCon premieres deadline, the only person disappointed by that is me, but defaulting on Festivids would risk leaving my assigned recipient giftless, plus it would make more work for the mods. I couldn't take the guilt.
