Between my campus interviews and an upcoming conference presentation on Buffy, I am going to be away from home and/or traveling for 13 of the next 21 days. That's 62%, for the statistically-minded among you. As a confirmed homebody, I find these numbers exhausting merely to contemplate.
I haven't started freaking out yet. I suspect the freakout is waiting to pounce on me when I get on the plane tomorrow.
And now, back to writing down some of the specific classroom activities with which I charm, confuse, frighten, enlighten, and generally educate my endlessly patient if occasionally puzzled students. It is a satisfyingly long list.
