This post is gorgeous. It reminds me of why we own a copy of your chapbook - you pretty much blew Lisa and I away at that reading last fall. In fact, I think the scenario was rather similar to your purhcase of Rachel Cantu's CD. "Hmm... I think I need that!"

Me too. You know what I mean by "loafed," right? That thing they do where they have no feet and they look like a loaf of bread? I love that.
And I'm glad you liked the post. I've been getting about one short nonfiction piece done a month, which isn't much but is better than nothing, and it's all because of LJ. Yay, personal perception of public accountability!
