According to NPR's Marketplace the other day,
a leaked memo from Microsoft revealed their joint plans with the Associated Press to provide news video online. Apparently news circulation rates have been dropping recently (and of course, the internet is presumed the guilty party). Anyhow, I was particularly tickled by this bit of news, because I've recently been giving some thought to the future of television given the increasing available of ad-free shows online (through iTunes and bit torrenting, for example):
