oh my! eventfulness!

it all started a week and a half ago recording from the headline. the recordings turned out amazingly and i'm SUPER happy about it. my dad was visiting a friend somewhere close to oshkosh and came to eat mexican food with me and the band. they think my dad is "the shit." way to go, dad. way to know that the way to a rock band's heart is a pitcher of spotted cow. anywayyy, mark was feeling sick and will lay down the vocals to the three songs we did after the show in oshkosh on friday with between you and me. i still have to see austin in action.

so we finished recording instruments friday night and i went to work the next morning. after two nights of fun slumber parties and back to back 12 hour recording sessions, they had to occupy themselves for the entire day on saturday before their shitty bar show. so i was working and did a delivery on the outskirts of Kosh. i got stiffed then walked back to my car and it wouldn't start. no engine noise, no nothing! i called AAA and got it jumped, then headed back to China 1. From the Headline was playing football in the parking lot. Jason knows a ton about cars and I asked him what was up (my car still running). He said it could be my alternator or just my battery. Under his instruction, I shut off my car and it wouldn't start again. they gave me a jump and hugs and went to their show. i resolved to keep my car on for the rest of my shift and then buy a battery in the morning in time for work the next day. but a co-worker, in his infinite wisdom, shut off my car to see just how dead my battery really was. i called up lee and they turned around to give me yet another jump. when their van, trailer in tow, was 7 or 8 feet from my car, the most ungodly noise came from under their hood and the van came to a screeching halt. two thick ass metal screws that deal with steering broke completely in half. it took them 23 hours getting their hands greasy but they fixed that shit themselves and last i heard they made it to cornerstone on time.

SO i replaced my battery the next morning and worked.
the next day, continuing on this theme of car health, i got my oil changed and the fine folks informed me that my rear struts needed to be replaced. sooo.. i'm $500 deep into a car that's worth about as much... all i wanted was a fucking oil change. hah.

last friday was robot mosh. i met a handful of cool kids that i can't wait to hang with more and that's that.

oh! and this nice young woman, jillian, whom i met at the bright eyes show last april, is moving to appleton tomorrow. new friendz!

what a long winded entry.
sorry.

who wants to come to kosh and visit me on friday and see between you & me play with from the headline and a kosh band you've never heard of?
