(no subject)
Last night at Tab's was fun. Her little boy is hilarious and was in a pretty good mood, considering he didn't get his nap that day. I showed her how to upload stuff to the mp3 player she bought her husband for xmas and also showed her how to rip cds. It amazes me she was totally clueless on how to do that. I didn't get home until almost 11:00, and I was totally zonked. Didn't manage to stay up to see the meteor shower, though it wasn't supposed to be terribly impressive anyway (only 15 meteors per hour, and that's the peak). Oh well.
This morning, I slept a little later than I intended, but I'm okay with that. Vacations mean sleeping in. I just finished making these AMAZING Pear & Ginger Muffins from Nigella's new cookbook. I made 12 regular sized muffins and about 6 minis with the batter I had left. I tried one of the minis and they are SOOOOOO good. I'm going to wait for the big ones to cool a bit before eating one with a nice cup of tea. After breakfast, I think I'll get dressed and head over to Garden Ridge to look for a wreath and run a few other errands. Then, I'll go walking (it's nice to be able to walk in the middle of the day and not worry about it being too hot). Tonight, just going to hang around the house and return a cute boy's phone call from yesterday.
