I'll miss lj, I spent many years here talking about nothing in particular but it's just not feeling like a terribly wise place to be anymore.

Hello. I was off LJ for a long time, partly because I had login issues. If it's easy to explain, could you tell me why you're switching? I'm curious.

The new terms of service are problematic, especially given as they have the disclaimer that they may not be the full terms of service but the true document is in Russian. Also, being a gay man and livejournal being owned by a Russian company...I can't in good consciousness support them given their recent actions.
