Walking on broken glass
I'm way behind posting again. I suck. So to catch up a bit.
Weekend before last was a party at a friend's house up in SF (for pride presumably though it wasn't explicitly stated as such) Fun times. Much clothing was removed, including mine though I demanded the one piece of clothing that was stolen back very quickly as, yeah...not comfortable being THAT unclothed in groups. (I THINK all the picture taking was over by that point so I'm safe from that at least :-P)
Took a bottle of port. Many people loved me for that one ;-)
Still, fun times, good views. Didn't get too terribly drunk though the next day was still sort of pokey just due to lack of sleep.
Last week at work was...trying. The next day or two looks to continue this trend so having the oddly placed Wednesday off shall be a very good thing.
This weekend was also good. Friends came over on Sat. for gaming. Didn't stay quite as late as I would have thought and next time I should invite a couple of more people as I've determined that my roommate is not...resilient enough to finish a game of illuminati, he threw the game at the end which was a little irritating but eh, he doesn't game much at all so I guess I'm not surprised.
There was a rather distressing accident just before they got there. I'd taken out some wine glasses as the other reason other than gaming to invite people over was the hope to go through a few bottles as they're piling up again. They were, however, set opposite the leaning tower of possible games to play through my inattention to the fact that even I can occasionally be clumsy. One bump of the table and...
I'm sure you can see where this is going. Broke four wine glasses and terrified me as four wine glasses smashing to the floor really makes a tremendous noise and pile of glass shards everywhere. Adrenaline thy name is jitters. Thankfully nobody managed to injure themselves on it.
Yesterday I wandered off to the local cost plus and bought a few more glasses to make up for it.
Even drew a bit yesterday though didn't finish anything. First time in ages. Hopefully I'll get back into the swing of making art soon.
