Birthday/catching up
Thank you for the birthday wishes. If I missed replying to anyone specifically I apologize, other than just kind of lurking online I didn't really do much playing with the computer/reading lj or any such thing yesterday.
It was an extremely quiet long weekend, aside from a dinner on Friday where there was margaritas on an empty stomach. Which led to probably many amusing conversations online later until the food caught up with the alcohol.
Other than that, mostly there were video games. Because I just really didn't have the brain power to do anything productive or try to hunt down people to plan anything. (If y'all haven't noticed, I hate planning things so typically if you're interested in doing something poking me with something and saying 'hey, lets do something' is probably the way to go. I suck, I know, but it's a feature, not a bug. Or something)
There was very little sleep over the weekend. But mostly because I kept waking up bloody early. There was a lovely breakfast out and some Firefly watched. I started being evil in Infamous because my roommate has been wanting to watch the game from the beginning (many hints of 'if you want to use the ps3 you can' have been flying about) and discovered that being evil is far easier. I downloaded Mass Effect and died many times yesterday because that is how I roll when it comes to any game that involves shooting real time. I had a togos sandwich for dinner and tried not to melt as it was extremely hot in the apartment.
I kind of wish I'd asked for the whole week off. I think I could have used the mental vacation and I'm kind of being hammered by new stuff at work from the get go today which makes me want to hide under my desk a bit ;-)
I have determined that the random coughing fits I've been having lately are caused by something at work 'cause I didn't have even one on my few days off.
