There was an event!
OK, I rarely do the run-down thing, but so much happened and I had such a great time I need to splurge a bit before getting on with RL in any constructive sort of way!
The good;
-Arriving on Thursday, negating prep-stress and getting to chat with people OC
- The return of amagiclantern and all that entailed
- The return of Athenegenia and all that entailed
- the ladies meeting
- "It must be a human thing..."
- Being angry at someone for three hours before feeling it was a suitable time to, erm, express my anger...
-... no one actually caring that I had done this...
-...being flanked by two other armoured, armed females as I did this...
- the Bastet for being awesome and also not letting me see any of the less-than-Amun-Sa things they may or may not have gotten up to...
- Getting everything done that I'd planned...just about...
- Having things happen to me that I hadn't expected...
- Roll-playing with Marcus_Felix again, always a pleasure!
-Armour! And the reactions thereto!
- Having help from people so both setting up and packing down were in no way stressful!
The bad;
- Mouldy tent! (thesofaofdeath - it's fine, it meant we could recognise it!)
- Being camped in a bit of an out-of-the-way position, although it did give us a good place to string the banners!
- Forgetting parts of some important conversations due to drink/sleep deprivation
- Not getting to play that game of chess
- Not having time to play any games, actually...
The ugly;
- All the de-kitting still waiting to be done!!
Seriously, it was awesome, I am teh happy, if still a bit out of it!!
Arts await...I'm going to finish my outstanding work first, but if people have requests then put a note below, preferably with a link to a pic and I'll see what I can do!
