I'm just going to take it for granted now that every time I end up in another world/dimension/time, it's going to be a war-torn, devastated city.

Still, this isn't half as bad as when I arrived in Haven. The supply runs are a cinch, and toasting monsters is a piece of cake, even without my powers.

The people here are what makes the difference. As far as surroundings go, yeah it's a lot like Haven, but the people are way different. Kinda makes me remember Sandover. Reminds me why I still kept fighting long after getting fed up with everything.

Speaking of my powers, I can't help but feel a little relieved they're gone. Yeah, it's useful being able to turn into a super-human monster that wants to do nothing but rip its enemies to shreds, but I kind of like what little scrap of sanity I've got left where it is.

Torn and Ash are pretty gung-ho about getting my powers back, and I won't deny I kind of miss the light Eco but... well, if I never have to turn into that dark creature again it'll be too soon.
