Thunderhorses come to stay.

And the second photo post of the day: I have new neighbours!

William, Harvey and Boy have come to live in my neighbour's field. This was very exciting to Pepsi, who ran around her paddock for a bit before losing interest in life, and Beatrice, who just looked a bit bemused.

Unfortunately, instead of running out into the main field all three of the buggers decided to ponce around in the little paddock area so it meant I was shooting into the sun for all the action shots. But still, I managed to salvage a few.

This was the sky at around 6:30am, before I left for work.

Pepsi this afternoon (I worked 7am-12pm and then 3pm-5pm, so in the middle I nipped home and played with ponies).

I think this sums up our 14-years-and-counting relationship fairly well. Pepsi trying to do something she shouldn't (in this case, stomp on my camera that I'd left on self-timer); and me, completely failing to stop her.

The feathers on Harvey's forelegs look pretty magical here. Note Bea and Pepsi in the background.

Harvey.

Harvey and Boy, racing each other.

Harvey again.

Boy, poncing around. :P

Note that Harvey still has a mouthful of grass.

I missed the point where William and Boy were running straight for Elf - at that point, I was too :O to take a photo. So here they are after she thankfully managed to deflect them. :P

Boy.

Boy lolloping past; bemused mares in the background again.

Boy and William saying hello to Beatrice while William trots past. Just because he can.

Boy.

Harvey and his shiny shoe!

William has a roll.

Lol, William. :P

Mum and Beatrice. :)

Pepsi is bored of this. Also, it looks like she's managed to get her fly fringe wrapped round her face again.

Settling down for the serious business of eating.

William.
