Omg, I should be in bed by now, but I just wanted to share some commissioned art! This was drawn for me by Claudia of
ChibiArts, who I would highly recommend as not only incredible value for money but also a lovely, helpful artist to work with.
Originally I'd wanted a picture of Saxen, but my price range didn't really give me a lot of good hits on my Etsy search ... until I found ChibiArts. Her work is lovely, but I liked her female portraits so much that I changed my mind and asked her to draw Lilith for me, instead. When I saw the first sketch, Lilith looked a lot younger than I imagine her - but I really liked it. So I guess this is Lilith as a teenager; still with the same, "I'm better than you" expression. ;) Her hair is longer now, too!
Lilith's clothes here are based on those of Etain, a character from the film Centurion. I haven't seen the film myself, but Etain's costume was featured in a museum exhibition I went to earlier this year, and I wanted Lilith to wear a woodland version of it. :) These days, she wears things that are much more subtle.
I can't draw people at all, so it's extra special to have artwork of my human characters.
